NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION COURSE
1 Day Orientation Course:
As a requirement of all REALTOR Membership, you will need to take a sanctioned Orientation course within the first three times of the courses' offering from date of your application, but not later than 6 mos. from application date. The Orientation Course is offered by both VAR (Vt Association of Realtors) and VREIN (Vt Real Estate Information Network).
Please contact them directly for course costs,dates, locations , directions
and outine of information. Many new Realtors compliment us on how much value
is recieved from this course and they report they are glad they took it.

If your firm is already an affiliate member in up to three adjacent boards
or in more than one, NON adjacent board, then the VAR portion of dues is
triggered. Otherwise, only the local portion, RCBR, dues are owed along with
the initial application fee.
Most Affiliates are either local lenders, financial institutions, community
service lenders or publications, but if you feel you might benefit by being
associated with us, we would love to welcome you to join. Our membership
meets monthly and the agenda is set by the President. As an Affiliate, you
will be afforded the opportunity to present your services to the membership
and have access to the membership meetings and all official business as well
as the networking opportunities our association offers. If you have an idea
for the agenda, please contact the board President.
**MLS Services**
MLS
(Multiple Listing Service) is provided by the NVBR (Northwestern Vermont
Board of REALTORS) through VREIN (Vt Real Estate Information Network) and comprises much of the state's Realtor Listings. Please see their Link for all MLS information as it is not provided by the Rutland County Board of Realtors. We access MLS Listing information by use of InnoVia and the listings are then inputted to REALTOR.com. The east side of the state's Realtor listings are available to you only through, www.NNEREN.com, unless you join their MLS at additional cost. Your entire office would need to subscribe. We have public access to the listing data through this VREIN link - www.vrein.com/public/propertySearch.html or www.Realtor.com .
VREIN/MLS dues will be billed to the broker for the number of licensees at the office and are due whether or not the licensee is a Realtor member or not. To apply for MLS services, you will need to download the .pdf, 'VREIN/MLS Subscription Application' under 'Forms' at the left.
